     Welcome to the wonderful world of Room 111.  The fifth grade world of wonder awaits you here.  You will be exploring the eco-systems, working with mixtures and solutions, and building your own cars while studying motion and design in science!  Your math knowledge will be extended in the areas of multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and probabilty.  Reading will always be a magical adventure that will take you to places that you have only dreamed of but you have to use the strategies to get there!  In social studies our time machine awaits you as we explore our country's history beginning with the Civil War!  Exciting times await us as we immerse ourselves in this new wonderful world of knowledge!  Remember knowledge is power!
