Welcome to the webpage
of the Lulu Ross PTP
(Parent Teacher Partnership)
Goals:
The PTP raises money to pay for some of the field trips that students take, gives each student a Birthday Book (on his/her birthday), stocks the $1.00 book table at the book fair (for children who cannot afford book fair prices), and provides additional prizes for the PAW Power behavior program. The PTP also organizes the annual teachers' appreciation luncheon, assists the teachers throughout the year and hosts the annual spring carnival. In the past the PTP has also purchased the decorative flags on display outside of our school building, assisted with the purchase of materials for the classrooms, helped provide assemblies, etc.
Ross PTP encourages community service by asking children and their families to donate food for our annual Thanksgiving Basket Project. (Last year 40 Ross families were provided food for the holidays). We also have a coat, hat, and mitten drive in December.
Additionally, we hold many fun and educational activities through out the year for our students and their families. Watch for information about our family roller skating nights, bowling events, and the annual spring carnival!
