Welcome to Second Grade!  I am looking forward to working with your family this school year.  Teacher and Parent communication is very important to me because the end result is always SUCCESS!  If you ever have any questions or concerns please contact me by calling 422-1640 ext 215 or email me at krdee@mail.milford.k12.de.us.

We will have a small amount of homework Monday through Thursday.  I very rarely assign homework over the weekend.  This would only be due to a special occassion or assignment.

 The children in my classroom will come home every night with a daily planner and take-home folder.  They will need to bring these back to school with them each and every day.  The daily planner will need a parent signature every night.  Please also use this planner as a way of communicating with me.  I will check their planners each morning for signatures and any notes.  The take-home folder will have a "leave at home" side and also a "bring back to school" side.  These two items have been very successful communication pieces in my classroom.

You are more than welcome to bring a water bottle and a healthy snack to school each day.  My class is always welcome to have snack or drink whenever needed anytime before lunch.

I am looking for a Room Mother or Room Father to assist me throughout the school year.  I hope many of you can volunteer in the classroom as an assistant, a copier, chaperone, or volunteer for many of our activities here at Ross.
