Principal: Dr. Sylvia M. Henderson

Dr. Henderson has been in the field of education for 16 years. Dr. Henderson has been with the Milford School District for 9 years. Prior to coming to the district she worked as a regular and special elementary education teacher. Dr. Henderson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University in 1991, a Masters of Education degree from Salisbury State University in 1993 and completed her Doctor of Education program at Wilmington College in 1999. Dr. Henderson says she is committed to providing a productive and successful learning environment for all students. She enjoys working with staff, parents, administration and the community as partners in education.

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Lynda Hertrich

Mrs. Lyndie Hertrich has been working in the Milford School District for 9 years. She started her career as a first, second and third grade looping teacher at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School.  She was also named the 2007-2008 Teacher of the Year for our school district. Mrs. Hertrich began the year as the Elementary Math Specialist for Lulu Ross and Benjamin Banneker Elementary Schools. This will be her first year as the Assistant Principal of Lulu Ross Elementary School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University in Early childhood Education, a Masters of Reading degree from Wilmington University, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Education program at Wilmington University. Mrs. Hertrich wishes for a future with only happiness and endless possibilities of greatness for your children and looks forward to the promise that children have within themselves to make this world a better place.
